Before you go through these instructions you may want to learn more about printing with IPX
 

Make sure you have admin rights and login to the server where you want the print queue.

• run pconsole.exe (usually in SYS:\public directory)
• highlight print queue information and hit enter for a list of print queues.
• hit insert to add a new print queue
• type in the name you want to call the printer and hit enter (more info on naming the print queue go to the bottom of ipx.html)
• esc back to main menu

• highlight print server information and hit enter for a list of print servers
• hit insert to add a new print server
• type in the name you want to use (arbitrary) and hit enter
• the new print server should be highlighted - hit enter
• highlight print server configuration and hit enter
• highlight printer configuration and hit enter
• highlight the printer to use, probably 0, it should read not installed - hit enter
• enter the printer name you want to use (again arbitrary)
• under type select
• for pserver use : defined elsewhere
• for rprinter use : remote other/unknown
• press esc and save changes

• esc back to print server configuration menu and highlight queues serviced by printer - hit enter
• select your printer and hit enter
• hit insert to show available queues
• highlight your queue and hit enter
• hit enter again for priority 1

• esc your way out - your done
